Dena Rash Guzman    Contributor -- Nevada

Dena Rash Guzman is a poet, writer of short stories and travel essays, and a photographer.

She is a regular contributor to Luciole Press and has been published in many literary journals. She currently is at work on various art projects and has twice performed with the internationally traveling literary performance troupe, Sister Spit.

She is a satellite member of a Shanghai-based writers group and will soon be published in an associated journal.

An advisor of the education of special needs children, she is working on a poetry manuscript while homeschooling her son and traveling as much as she can. She lives with her family and two rescued dogs in the suburbs of Las Vegas, Nevada, where she tries to grow food under the hot Mojave sun.

She actually is quite lazy.

She also has a bit of a Greta Garbo complex. She vants to be alone. Mix this with a mild obsession with Howard Hughes and you've got a damn busy hot mess.

In the summer of 2009 she and her son escorted her nephew to visit his father, a resident of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands.

These are her photographs.
